My work at work (after 1pm) is to pretend to work

After working and being exploited (which is a pre requisite before you come an intern) at a law firm with four bosses, interning at a PR company makes me feel like I own this place. hah! Mornings are hectic, mad, crazy. Reading at least 2 whole newspapers and ALSO summarising articles, scanning bla bla is insane. But once deadlines are met, I am as free as this. Blogging. Me, blogging. Without being asked to. This is how free I am.

These are my aims for the last free 2 months before I plunge into 1/3 years of the much anticipated and much much hyped tertiary education:

- haircut much, yeah Radhika? My hair's like a bird nest. frizzy and thick.
- sponsor a child on Worldvision. I want a girl with straight hair. I want the child to have what I never did. -sob sob-

ok this is getting boring. I don't want to make that list. I anyways won't follow it. Save some precious internet space/bytes.

Second day at work and I think I am already hated. Let me tell you why.

There is a gay person at this workplace. Real nice guy. And he is open about his liking for guys. He has a picture of his boyfriend up at his table. pretty cute. And next to him sits another guy, who is straight. New me + new names = confusion. So this straight guy email me through the internal office email and I just tell him (to break the nice) that 'hey! I think your boyfriend is cute! great going!' (after confusing his name with the actual gay one).

So, I didn't get a reply. I started to wonder. Eventually when I did, it said this --> 'Go talk to him lah. I am not gay if you think.'

Duh, I was surprised. huh? what? etc etc

THENNN it dawned upon me. I just accused a perfectly straight guy to be gay. And he thinks I am interested in another guy who works in the office. Great. Ideal first week.

My chinese superior is blasting 'Saara zamana, haseeno ka diwana' in the office.

HAHA here!
